I received six sticks to review for them, there are 44 guys across the states doing the same, the best rated cigar will be the one that will be pushed at the RTDA, so far the first two are'nt much to talk about. After the ratings are all in, they will let us know which blend they picked. Of course, i believe the cards are stacked in this game, they are looking to come out with a tasty full bodied cigar. We'll see what they come with, my fingers are crossed.

I guess you're not allowed to tell us which ones they sent you?
They're numbered one through six, we have no idea what the names or blends are. I'll keep all info posted Wyatt.

How can it be pushed at the RTDA when there is no RTDA???????

Just giving ya a hard time mate! The name changed...

General is still calling it RTDA, first i heard of the name change. Thank!

Thought i'd update the reviews, most of the cigars were a bit bitter and grassy, two were good tasting but only one cigar had all the characteristics one looks for in A GREAT CIGAR. The cigar had a natural wrapper and plenty of oomph to go with a peppery and sweetness to go with good construction and burn. This rubusto would be something i'd buy depending on price and what is available elsewhere. :) Once all the reviews are in General will let me know what the cigar is that they will be handing out at the show.

Interesting, thank you for sharing. Just out of curiosity, how did you and the other guys get picked?

Yea, I'm doing the same review for General. I smoked 3, the first two started of decent but then got bland for me. The GCC3 wasn't that good at all, not terrible, just not that good.

That's an interesting question, i don't know. There's a whole group of guys that i know who have had different relationships with GC and we all are doing the survey. Myself, when i first started lurking on online cigar boards Cigarworld.com was one that i visited and registered. After a while they started sending cigars through the mail and asked for reviews, the rest is just a progressive event and i went to the DR to visit their facilities. :)
