So I had recently set up a 120 quart coolidor in my bedroom closet and while it's not on the biggest shelf it has plenty of room and shouldn't move very much. It was holding 70% humidity perfectly with beads and everything seemed to be going great.

In the middle of the night last night I hear this huge jumble that woke me & my girlfriend out of a dead sleep. At first I thought maybe someone had broken in and was going through my stuff but there were no other sounds after that.

I ventured into my closet to see my coolidor lying on the ground with the lid wide open and my cigars all strewen across the floor. As I was picking up the fallen soldiers I found one that was wounded beyond repair. It was my Partagas 160 Robusto Minor single that I had been looking forward to trying soon. This thing is $16 a my local B&M (I didn't pay that much but I can't get the same deal now). :(

I may move all my super-premiums and HTF sticks to my desktop humi so this doesn't happen again. I would hate for one of my Anejo or Opus singles to be destroyed.

That sucks. I've completely f**ked up a La Aurora preferido by putting the tube back together too fast. An inch of wrapper was stripped off :(

Yeah i've been thinking up ways to keep that sucker on the shelf. Duct tape and nails have definitely been in the plans so far.

So I assume it slid off the shelf? Sounds pretty easy to fix IF that's all it is.

Maybe a bungee cord fix? Two, one from each handle to any sturdy anchor(s)?

I really don't see how it just slid off as it takes a considerable amount of force if you try to push it off. I have it lying on it's side on a shelf...I may just move it to the ground and not worry about any fancy placement.

Jeez this is so obvious it was the closet monster.....
