First Annual MD Golf Herf 5/31/08

I'd like to extend a BIG thanks to Dennis (thehatguy) and Tim (tim d.) for yesterdays golf outing. Tim put together a real nice event, complete with a downpour! And Dennis sponsored our 4-some. Andrew (FunkyCold5) and I played a really good 9 holes before Possidons evil brother openned up the heavens on us. Par for the front 9 was 36, we got a fairly honest 42. The goodie bags were very nice too. Thanks to Tim and Dennis for letting us partake in this fun event.

I am sory for the late notice(between the server change and not being able to log-on, watching the radar on Accuweather, and Anthony not flying in from the Vegas HERF until after midnight), and that Tone-NY and I bowed out of this one......but it sounds like we made the correct decision. I love CP and Golf but a 10 hr roundtrip for 9 holes of golf would have been a bit of a stretch even for the heartiest BOTL (especially with gas at its current prices...lmao)

Glad you guys enjoyed the golf you did get in, and hope to make it up to you either down there or by hositng you all up here before the summer slips away.....

Again thanks for the generosity of the brothers who put this together and donated the round.
 
Dennis thanks for staking us. Sorry it didn't work out for Vince and me. Dinner and/or golf is on me next time I'm in town! Should be in September I'll let you know the dates in advance.
