Indiana Jones and the Kingdom Of The Crystal Skull

Ok David, you don't have to spoil, it but I heard that it was good, but not as good as The Last Crusade. Any retort?

I don't think anything can top The Last Crusade ...... but that's my opinion :D

My thoughts exactly. The Kingdom of The Crystal Skull was good, but it's Indy so it's going to be good. Though it definately did NOT top The Last Crusade, it's definately worth seeing.

I didn't read the the other threads, but I hated it!!! I was bored and felt like the stunts were WAY over the top

Just saw it. As some others have already stated, it was decent, but it is definitely the weakest, if not corniest, entry in the series.

Yup, Indiana Jones meets E.T.

Seems like everyone I talk to says the exact same thing, which is unfortunate. Rental for sure, the kids recently started watching the others in the series so they are pretty jazzed about this one.

Saw it yesterday, I thought it was good. Maybe a little over the top, but good.

I felt like this one required far too much and too many types of suspension of disbelief between the refrigerator, the swinging from vines, the fact that suddenly the tree-eating bulldozer thing was no longer necessary at the exact instant it blew up, the three waterfalls, etc. I also thought that whatshername wasn't nearly evil enough for an Indy villain.

I've got truly mixed feelings about it. I go back and forth between giving it a B or a D, and I haven't heard a single comment or opinion on either side of the spectrum that I have disagreed with.

I did appreciate John Hurt's presence, particularly as a quite mad Mayan-rambling nutjob. Although, it made me want to come home and pop in my dvd of 1984 to see him in a role more deserving of his talents.
