:whistling:

   Charlie, you know I  you!

Edited to add: Despite my banter, I downloaded it just cause...and HOT DAMN it's QUICK! I'm a believer now...

Running it on my home and work PC's. No down side...page loads seem much faster. Some really nice features, to be sure....

FF 3 is 2-3 times faster on average. Renders pages nicely.

I switched over several months ago, and all I have to say is FF rules! Even if it weren't 2X faster, I'd have it just for the awesome add-on utilities like Ad block - I haven't seen one of those annoying dancing "I gotz me a mortgage" guys in months. Just downloaded the latest version this week, it seems to be working even better than the previous version, no issues so far.

I have had it for a couple of days and love it!! The only thing I don't like is how they store your Bookmarks under the "http bar", yeah I know that is not what it is called.

I downloaded it last night and have used it a bit today. So far it's great, a couple things I don't care for but no big deal. I do find it's loading pages faster than before which is nice and I'm loving the plugins.

Are you sure? My bookmarks are up in the FILE / EDIT / VIEW / etc toolbar...

Mine too...

I think he may mean that the address bar pulldown has been "expanded" so it shows bookmark-like information instead of just the address:

If that's what you mean, I agree - not a big fan of that change.

Made sure I got the chics in the screenshot

FF2 was pre-cacheing (if i have the term right) likely links that you would click on. They loaded bits of pages you might go to after the current one, and this took up all kinds of memory (or so i'm told)

To cody, I have my bookmarks in a bar under my address bar. If you hit View>Toolbars>Customize, you can drag, drop, delete and move almost all of the Toolbar type elements.

I'm almost sure Rod knows this, but for anyone new to FF, if you go to Bookmarks>Organize Bookmars, you can drag all of your bookmarks and folders to the Bookmarks toolbar, and be able to one-click them instead of using the pull-down menus.

Seems pretty fast, I have been using Safari. I will have to download on pc side to see how it runs there.

Thanks for the update.
