Currently every stick in my humi is a single as I am experimenting with different vitolas, blends, wrappers etc... to get a good feel for what's out there and where my taste lies.

Well, today I grabbed the C Torano, Casa Torano (Toro 6.1x50) at random out of the humi as I left the office to play a round of golf. I lit up on the first hole and Wow! What a nice smoke! Construction was excellent and it drew perfectly. Lots of creamy mild flavor with a subtle bit of peppery delight mixed in. It burned evenly all the way dow to a nub that I could literally not hold anymore for fear of burning my fingertips and the finish was pleasant and not harsh at all. I finished it right at the the end of the 6th hole and was disappointed that it was gone.

I've noticed my taste has been more towards the medium bodied sticks but this one really hit the spot. I now need to pick up a box because I have a feeling it would be the perfect compliment to a morning cup of coffee in addition to being a great golf smoke.

Casa Toraño is a really nice smoke for the price, IMHO. Glad you enjoyed it.

I've been a long time fan of the Toraños. However, my favorite has to be the "Signatures" especially the perfectos.

Glad to hear that you found another smoke that you liked. Just for future reference this would be better if posted in the Review Thread.

I had really just thoroughly enjoyed the smoke and was commenting on it more than reviewing it but I guess it did come out sort of reviewish didn't it.? Of course I never assigned a rating ;)

Just smack me upside the head and call me a stoopid newb :D

The Signatures are the only Toranos I really enjoy anymore. I really seem to have developed a distaste for Honduran tobacco. I'm not sure why, but it's something that has happened over the last year or so.

The signature is my go-to. I can't say enough good things about it.

I was on the receiving end of a generous trade and got a few of these from that... Since that, I've bought half a box. I find them to be pretty flavorful, but not to strong, something that I normally enjoy in a cigar. They are nice for social gatherings, especially for the price.

I've always felt that Torano made a good, solid smoke. My all time favorite was the Tribute.

Just an FYI for all you Toraño fans, like myself. I heard from several sources that Toraño has turned over their marketing and distribution to CAO. And as a result of that, a fairly steep price increase has been made on most all the Toraño smokes. So if you can find stock at the old prices, now is perhaps the time to stock up.

Mee three :) Love the Signatures and I too have found that I like Honduran cigars much less now than when I first started smoking. Huh...
