Well, I thought I could resist and just keep buying singles, samplers, and 5-packs. But with my new vinotemp and all the spare room in my desktop, I finally gave in and purchased my first real box of smokes.... a box of DPG Black Perlas.

Guess it's all over for me now.
 
lucky you, I have to will but not the mullah. Hope all arrives safe and finds a nice home in your vinotemp. Quick question, did you have cedar shelves made and if so were there any problem with the shelf fitting properly?

Step 1 buy a few cigars ....like em.
Step 2 buy a box full of cigars you have tried and liked.
Step 3 start looking at humidor thinking is this big enough ???
Step 4 ....well you get the picture my bro....you are now working your way to the deep end of the pool.

I hear you on the mullah... It took winning an auction on cigarauctioneer.com for this purchase to happen.

As for the vinotemp, I'm just sticking with the standard wire shelves for now. I picked up wood boxes for all my singles and that seems to be doing fine.

I'd post pics but I don't think it'd be very impressive at this stage. Wait till I buy more boxes! :whistling:
 
If all my money weren't going into motorcycle funds I would be right there with you. I'm stuck with singles for now, congrats though.

I remember when I got my first box of those. I couldn't believe how small it was! I thought there had been some mistake.

Congratulations! As Brickhouse said that's a box of very nice cigars, one of my favorites.

You have me trying to remember the first box I ever bought. And I really can't remember. Most likely a Villazon product. El Rey Del Mundo or Punch.
