How soon can a cigar develop mold.

I doesn't look like mold to me, I wouldn't worry about it.

I keep my cigars in coolers in my finished basement and during the summer months, I keep them right out in the open because the humidity in the whole room runs about 65%.

One year, we had some nasty, muggy weather and the RH in my basement was 90% :0 and I had some cigars out in the open and they all got pretty moldy.

I immediately went to Home Cheapo and tried to buy a humidifier but gee, they were sold out, go figure. It seemed that NO ONE had humidifiers for sale anywhere in all of New England that hot, muggy summer. I got lucky a few days later and found one and have been using it ever since.

I just brushed the mold off of the cigars and they were fine.

Biggestmexi, if you aren't actually the jerk you currently appear to be, perhaps it would be best to stop acting the part? From where I am sitting it looks as if you are throwing rocks at a beehive and wondering why they are stinging you.

Accept that what you wrote ruffled some feathers and move on. What would be better is a simple apology for what was considered a rude gesture and stop pouring petrol on the blaze you started.
