Purchase Of a Lifetime For me!

A couple that are out of focus are A's that recognize 9/11 public servants.
Jim

Jim, if you don't mind, I'd like you to take a couple extra in focus pictures of those for me please. Alot of my brothers fell in that incident, and I'd like to see what it looks like.

Thanks,
-Jonathan

No problem Jonathan!! I will do that and send them to you.

Jim

Just remember step13, you can't keep it unless you give it away... :)

Very nice eye candy! Thanks for sharing.

No cellophane on the Añejos is a warning sign to me... for two reasons.

1) Clearly the Sharks are not all from the same original box; they are color sorted when boxed, and some of these would not have been boxed together. If you were told these were a box of Sharks, that's not really accurate... they are singles thrown into a box

2) No cellophane not only doesn't protect the cigars, but unscrupulous sellers could claim that they are "Original Release" since they've been stripped of their cedar & cello, you'd have no way of knowing.

I was not told they where all from the original box. Ah the cellophane, I reomoved it (they were all discollored and the sharks did not have cedar obviously) because I have recieved Anejos that had mold in the past do to poor storage and the cellophane being still on the cigar. I have inspected the cigars and I am confident they are OR. I was only told that there was 22 OR sharks collected over time. I asked him to place them in a box for shipping purposes. I much appreciate all the answers and help you have given me with this Andrew thank you :).

So where do you live again? You don't have a security system, do you?

Just wondering....

Jim,

Congratulations on the awesome purchase. No matter what you paid, if it is worth it to you, you've done well.

When you come to SF, be sure to give plenty of notice so I can save up to bring appropriate sticks to swap!

*envious* hehe, j/k

I was in a relationship before, actually my ex-fiancee(glad I didn't marry that cheating bitch) where I wasn't allowed to buy anything without it "first going through her", UGH ... but you know something ... ? you only live once, so I'm really happy for you, ENJOY THEM!

You poor bastard!! That sound horrendous.

And may I just say... HOLY SH*T!!! That is some dribble-inducing haul right there mate.

Jim,

Quite an amazing haul indeed! I am in AWE of such a collection. Many there I will only ever see in pictures. No matter what you paid, there are truely amazing, collectable, and RARE sticks there and I am truely in AWE! (Awe: reminiscent of the power of God.)

Nice grab! Thank you for sharing the pics, no matter the focus!! LOL

At least I got to smell every single stick! Now if I can just talk this sick bastage out of a 5'r of the OR Sharks! :whistling:

There's no such thing as OR Sharks. They were not part of the original Añejo release, so they don't have the same wrapper the OR Añejos have (in terms of age, etc.)

Also I'm curious, what did you examine in order to determine that the Añejos are indeed OR?

So recently purchased some items that are dear to my heart and wanted to share them with you. I paid too much probably, but I wanted them and they were available. I am happy!! Here are some Pics-
