Mowing and a Pipe

I was out mowing the lawn today on my riding lawn mower and I though "Hey...I wonder if I could have a corn cob pipe while mowing?" Being as I was almost done I didn't bother stopping and trying it but I was just wondering has anyone here had a pipe while mowing their lawn? I know some people have "Yardgars" the cheaper cigars while mowing but has anyone had...a Yardpipe? :p

Watch the wind. There is a real danger of burnout, even with a cob. If you use a wind cap, you'll likely be OK no matter the wind.

After awhile you can feel a hot spot on the bowl if it's windy. If you are mowing slowly and there isn't much wind you should be OK, though.

I certainly wouldn't mow while smoking a nice briar pipe.

Hell, it would be my luck that I'd drop it and somehow mow over it.

I hope you will at least wear a smoking jacket while doing this ;)

No jacket required!
