Arturo Fuente Anejo #50

I really hope you didn't order them from cigar.com
 
There not a bad smoke, I had my first one last week and really enjoyed it.
 
I love Anejo's and it would be great to get a 5'er of #46, but not at cigar.com prices.
 
They are good, indeed, but I'm not a huge fan. Probably won't ever go out of my way to buy them for myself.
 
50's are my favorites. New ones can be a little harsh on the palette if you are not used to them. When you get them put them aside for three months and smoke the first one, then smoke the next one six months later so you can taste the difference. Enjoy them :thumbs:
 
#50's, 46's and 48's are some of my favorites, I usually only find them around father's day (but not this year) and x-mass. Hope you didn't over pay. As much as I like them they're not as good if one gets ripped off.... IMHO.
 
The #50 is one of my favorite smokes. I hope you enjoy them.
 
You are in big trouble. These are some damn fine cigars, and they're about as hard to find as any cigar out there, at least in my limited experience.
 
End it now. This is the worst mistake you ever made when purchasing cigars. :thumbs:

1. You will become addicted like I have.
2.scarcity of these cigars will make you want to kill yourself
3.when you do find them they will marked up so much you will want to kill yourself
4.when you finally run low on these you will want to kill yourself.

They are VERY hard to find.
None of the B&M's in my area carry them and most on-line sites really jack up the price (i.e. cigar.com).
 
They are tough to find. I got lucky on a trip to Montana and found a box of #50s at a price that I thought was reasonable. Hope you enjoy it!
 
I like all this talk about how Anejos improve with age...I have three 46's that have been in the humi since last December! :D
 
Reading this is making me want to go out and buy some more. The B&M in my area has a small stock of 50's and 46's. Next time I'm in the area I think I might have to pick a couple more up.

So what your saying is I will probably regret not getting more then the 2 I ordered? My local source has a whole box comming and I got in for 2. I will have to check to see if there are any left over that are not yet spoken for.

Also, I looked at some of the online retailers and seen what they price their Anejo's at. What is a good price for them in your opinions. Did I pay to much at $19.00 a stick? If I did, I guess I'll chalk it up to 'lesson learned'.

What you paid is relative to a lot of things. I once stumbled upon a small liquor store who has a Fuente account. I found some #55s for $12 a piece. It was like I found the golden ticket and bought all 12 they had. Yes I paid more than MSRP but I felt I hit the jackpot.

And yes, you will regret buying these. Not because of how much you paid but how damn good they are.
