Ok so I know I do not live in the frigid north where it gets cold like this ALL the time...but today it is 12 degrees with a windchill of ZERO....

Geezus...it's cold. :angry:

Even if you are used to it -15 (here) still sucks.

But its winter....and I will be cold in the garage tonight trying to smoke.
 
When it's this cold it's just damn cold. It was -8 last night here at the house and most of the area in north and eastern Pa had school delays because of the cold.

But it is going to warm up to 24 on sunday. :thumbs:
 
For the most part, Texas missed taking a direct hit on this. We've got some of the coldest weather so far this winter, but nothing like what many of you are getting.

Try to stay warm.

It is -21 with a windchill of -39 here in western Wisconsin. A couple hours ago the windchill was -47. You ever sit down in your car and the seat foam refuses to cushion you?
 
That's some crazy weather. And I thought it was cold when I got in my car this morning - a brisk 58. Don't know how you guys do it. I'll take the earthquakes any day. :D
 
Hey Rod, maybe that will prompt you to change the "In the News" on the homepage where it says its starting to cool down... :laugh:

It was a comfortable 8 above here this morning.

24 is hot....I am breaking out the shorts and taking a dip in the susquehanna!
 
It's about 18 but 1 with the windchill here. Where do you guys smoke when it's this cold? A jacket + space heater outside didn't work out as well as it sounds, and I'm pretty sure my landlord will kick me out for smoking inside.
 
It was so cold this morning the volume knob in my car was frozen in the "loud as all hell" position when I started the car...

Unless you live in the city and you realize that none of the houses here have chimneys and it's actually someones house on fire. That tends to kill the moment.

I always get a kick out of you east coast folk who talk so tough come winter time. You have no idea what WINTER really is and you wouldn't last one season out on the 'flat land'. Your blood isn't thick enough! :D

Flatlander ain't got nothing to do with geography. It's a state of mind. ;)
 
Come on Melly cold is only a state of mind. When I was outside this sitting in my car that said -7 I was god it warmer then last night.
