Hello Gentleman (and Ladies......are there ladies here?),

I am naive when it comes to cigars......that's why I'm here asking these questions to the pro's.

I have the following list of Cubans, I realize there are better, but I've tried to limit my possibilities to under a UK tenner.

Diplomaticos No. 1
Montecristo No. 3
Montecristo Especial No. 2
El Ray del Mundo Choix Supreme
Punch Coronations Tubed
Punch Coronas
Romeo y Julieta Cedros de Luxe No. 3
Romeo y Julieta No. 2 Tubed
Romeo y Julieta Exhibition No. 4
Sancho Panza Non Plus

Can you offer any advice on any of the above? Or point me to others, preferably no stronger than Medium-Full.

Cheers!

I don't want to be put off by smoking the full bodied stuff initially. I need to allow myself some time to enjoy the milder cigars (I have no problem with the medium blends....ugh I may have incorrect terminology) and need to save some of the good stuff for the years ahead, eh? Wait....did I just go Canadian?

Just get (Bolivar) a sampler (Bolivar) of several, then you (Bolivar) decide which you like (Bolivar) the best.

I'm here to learn and not to cause trouble for the community, I guess it's mainly US. I hope I don't break any rules by posting the URL of the shop I purchase from as I am in the UK. This cigar is a little outside of my beginner budget - http://www.cgarsltd.co.uk/partagas-serie-p-528.html

But, if there is a lot of agreement with yourself, It will be added to my list. Thanks Jam173.

It kind of seems like this is some sort of subliminal message. No, okay, its not.

I'll be right back, I've got to buy some Bolivar's. ???

Another vote for SLR A as well as the Bolivar. I just had my first Bolivar this week from another CP'er who likes them a little bit..... :whistling:

SLR A

Doc.
Yep, What Doc said.

Punch "Punch Punch" is another one that's kind to a noob's palate and offers up some really nice flavor.

Have fun - B.B.S.
Cheers B.B.S, I assume this is what you're referring to - http://www.cgarsltd.co.uk/punch-punch-p-277.html

Added to my list. Doc, I'm looking up SLR A....

Erm....It's a good thing in the English term, no idea about the American translation...no offence intended. I'm now curious what it means to an American?!?

I'm on my tippy toes now.....no idea if I'm insulting someone! I hate being the newbie! I stated in my 'hello' thread that all I say is in jest....maybe this post is making you laugh even harder......in which case... C Nut (a term I can take credit to....I started it y'here?)

Geezer in American English = old decrepit geezer in the Queen's English.

Just stay clear of using "puff" here, and you'll be fine :sign:.
