What have I gotton myself into?!
Haha, I suppose that's the push I needed. Considering this weather we're getting here this VSG might get a glorious death by fire tonight or tomorrow!

Finally had a mild day here in NJ. Went to the gym etc... and knew I would have a cigar when I came back to the house. I opened the cooler and it was a toss up between a VSG corona gorda and an Anejo 46 from last Christmas that had a spot of mold I wiped off it a couple of months ago. I chose to put fire to the Anejo and it was underwhelming at best. Nothing in the cigar reminded me of an Anejo at all. All I kept thinking was that I should have smoked the Ashton. That VSG will burn tomorrow :thumbs:

Oh good God, I can't really even formulate the words to explain how much I am enjoying this VSG. I'd tell you that the peppery flavor is well accompanied by the undertones of leather and cocoa with just the right amount of sweet to it but it'd be bullshit :laugh: :sign: !! (I can't taste any of that stuff some of you crazy FOGS can :blush:!! ) All I know is this is a damn good cigar and I need to get my hands on more!

These are definitely a nice cigar. My first VSG was an Illusion. It reminded me a lot of an Opus X. Definitely one of my top 5 so far.

Wait until you try the enchantment its quite shockingly different from the rest of the vsg's, in a good way.

It seems like there have been a lot of VSG love-fest threads lately, just like how we had a lot of Padron love-fest threads a few months ago.
I'll throw in my support- I love the VSG, especially the Torpedo and the Belicoso #2. I did have an Illusion not too long ago that had some tar build up in the head, but a quick reclip rectified the problem.

Another VSG fan here. Ive only tried the Corona Gorda and the Spellbound so far. Wizard is in the humidor. The Spellbound was one of my most memorable smokes to date.

I don't like them.
Not sure if this is in jest Greg, but I have yet to be very impressed by anything Ashton, especially the VSGs. Granted, I have only tried 6-7 of varying vitolas. I do hear that they are much better with a couple or more years on them, however, I haven't tried any that aged. I might give the line another try if a crusty one comes my way, but I am not going to search it out. I am glad however, that you all enjoy them so much.

Nope, not jesting at all. I've not yet smoked a VSG I've liked. I've pretty much given away every VSG I've gotten so far. I just got one a few days ago that I am going to smoke though. I'm hoping that it'll be....the one! Now ESG, that's an entirely different story. Those are VERY good smokes.

I can't imagine you have a very hard time doing that around these parts :laugh: . The ESG is one of the next on my list to try out (come to think of it, that list is getting pretty lengthy because of all you bastids around here!)
