What to do with cigar caps?

My local B&M has a basket for the end caps, it looks pretty cool with a pile of caps in it. I got to thinking, say you smoked a bunch of OpusX. What if you saved what filler is in the caps, and roll yourself a short filler OpusX cigar?

I save them to use for small spot repairs on damaged cigars. You would be amazed at how much tobacco you can salvage from a cap if you are very careful and tedious in the dissection.

I once had a plan to save up a bunch of caps and make some strange type of pipe tobacco from them but I gave up about 8 caps in, heh.

English sportsmen used to save the caps of their cigars for their wardens and gameskeepers to smoke in their pipes. Being interested in all things English sporting, I saved some caps to smoke in my pipe. Damn near killed me.

I always think about it when cutting an Oliva torp or a xXx, the part you cut off is just too cool not to do something with. I thought about the pipe thing too, sounds like that doesn't work.
