I have had a few sticks that had spots like that. I think it's just slight imperfections or something.

Could it be Cigar Herpes? Oh yes. An STD, Stogy Transmitted Disease.

Now THAT's funny.

I've seen a lot of these spots on cameroon wrappers - not sure if that's significant or not. But agree it's nothing to worry about.
