My brother in law Rob (Mysterea) got sick of me having a dead cell phone battery so he made me this cool little thing. USB port out, and my new cell phone uses the standard micro USB input. Now I can sit in my tree stand all day and never have a dead battery :thumbs:

Being somewhat in the "field" so to speak, is there some sort of insulating material underneath that circuit board? I can't tell from the picture. If not, you might want to layer the bottom of that can with a laminate film, just to protect from an erronent short circuit when you least expect it.

I remember in school we were building a flashing xenon strobe light...this one guy mounted his in a very cool looking metal box, plugged it in and turned it on...and it didn't work. So he took it out of the box, and with it sitting in the palm of his hand, plugged it in and tryed again. It worked this time and he found out why it didn't in the box...as his arm went numb from the board shorting against his hand lol.

Oh cool! was hard to tell and those battery connections looked a little close to the can...but it musta been the aspect of how the picture was taken hehe.
