Well, yesterday my friend Shant (my herfing buddy), and I were on the way to my father's deli over in Lakewood for lunch. We were driving down Spring street through Long Beach, and out of the corner of my eye I saw a van with the words, "Taylor's Cigar Lounge" printed on it. We promptly did a U-turn and headed back to track down the source of this van! Much to our surprise (and definitely our pleasure), we discovered a kick ass B&M! I was extremely impressed with the shop, as not only did it have one of the nicest interiors I had seen yet (very luxurious and sleek), but it has a very nice selection in the humidor. They have quite a lot of hard to find sticks, and their house blend looks impeccable (I still need to try a couple though). I was approached by an employee named Aaron, who showed me around the place. They have a nice sized lounge with the usual flat screens, leather couches, ect, humidified lockers, a large selection of cutters, lighters, ashtrays, humidors, ect. What really struck me though, was how nice everyone was there. I highly recommend that anyone in the area check this place out. They also told me that they were having an event this Friday with Oliva cigars, to celebrate their 5th anniversary.

I'm down in Long Beach about once a month. Definitely sounds like a place to check out. Thanks for posting...

Well, if you come down here and decide to check it out, shoot me a PM and I would love to buy you a beer!

Spring and what cross street?

I have a client on Carson and Los Coyotes Diag.
Sounds like a great detour in my day

Spring and Los Coyotes, actually! It's right next to the Pavillions, it is in that particular strip mall. I believe on one side of it is a Starbucks, and the other is a Cold Stone Creamery.

Wow that's close. There is a another B&M on Palo Verde and Spring in the Stater Bros. Center.
It's a head shop but he has a big walk in with a very nice selection and good prices.

I will check out that lounge next time I'm out there.

Hrmm, I will check out that head shop, thanks!

Yikes, bit of a drive to be coming from Temecula...though I can appreciate why you live out there, it is nice. I have family that owns a ranch out in Pala, so beautiful and fun to just hike around at (besides the rattlesnakes and tarantulas...)

Been going there for awhile. Nice shop, good selection. Just a few minor beefs. Such as does not carry Illusione's or Tat's But it seems to have everything else. and The shop seems to have a special relationship with Oliva/the oliva rep as the place Always has a good stock of Oliva's Series V even when other shops down the street claim they have had an order in for weeks! Forgot about the Oliva event but looks like Friday is out anyways as i am Busy.
There is also a tobacco shop at Los Coyotes Diagonal and Spring I believe it is called Long Beach Tobacco. Simi head shop but a pretty good sized walk in humidor and a Good selection of Cigars.

I agree that I was slightly dissapointed at the lack of the Illusione's or Tat's, but in the end if I feel the desire to get my hands on a few I know of a shop in downtown LA near my work that carries them (2nd Street Cigars). I would have to say that other than those couple lines, the selection is pretty good. Next time you are down there shoot me a PM prior to, and if I can I'll herf it up with ya!
