Here is the requested pics. I posted a free fake cohiba add in the classified. http://www.cigarpass.com/forumsipb/index.php?showtopic=56871

Ummmmm . . . I'm aware Cohibas are THE most frequently counterfeited Habanos out there, and that some of the counterfeits are mighty convincing, but that said . . . in my admittedly limited experience, I'm just not seeing a "tell" here.
How did you come to the decision they were fakes? Any of the more experienced hands here want to 'splain what I'm not seeing? ???

As I stated in the other thread....
The band is a dead give-a-way. The first tall-tale sign that stood out... you can tell in the last picture that there is no outward impression in the band, and that it's seemingly printed on paper.
also the comma is dead nuts in the center, it should come right after Habana on a real band..
But how did it smoke?![]()
I don't know if you can put the pics next to each other but here's a real band. Notice the comma, the full squares and the raised C-O-H-I-B-A letters. Sorry, the cigar's gone. :whistling:![]()

It's really unfortunate that someone puts so much effort into making what looks like a fine cigar. They should put their efforts into making a name for them selves.
Ask Gary (ironpeddler) to post a pic of the Cohiba 35th Anny I showed him while he was here. There wasn't too much effort put into this one.
