Changing link structure

When the new version of the forum software came out, it had a feature called FURL (friendly URL's). This feature is supposed to allow indexing by search engines easier, resulting in better ranking. Unfortunately, this new feature did nothing but screw up our very high rankings. I've removed FURL, and we're back to our old link structure. This will allow us to regain our rankings yet again.

If you have any bookmarks/links/etc to the FURL format, please update them with the new (old) format.

Does this mean posts we've made in the past that have links in them will no longer link where they were pointing to?

Possibly. However, they will be easy to find and update.
