Some New Fake Arrivals!

I wanted to let all my fellow enthusiasts here know of an order I received today from an online retailer that advertises on this site! I ordered a box of Partagas Series D #4 I have been smoking these for a while and getting them from a good source, the ones I received today were bad fakes, off color label, no punctuation like the authentic ones, the cigars are also a lighter shade then they should be. Same issues with a box of Cohiba robustos I received as well. Im obviously new to this board and I dont want to violate any rules by posting the vendor however I would be glad to reply to you PM if your interested in saving yourself a lot of money and grief! If someone thats been here a while can reply if I can post the fraudulent dealer here I would appreciate it!! I hope nobody else has to go through this BS too!
 
This thread would be more helpful with pics, to help validate your claims. Also please PM the vendor name.

The cigar on the right is the authentic series D the one on the left is my new arrival, notice the lighter shade cigar along with the differences on the band.
 
I'd be very interested to know how one of the new arrivals smoke/look dissected.
 
Im waiting for a reply from the vendor before I dissect one. The Series D4 is one of my favorite smokes, these are clearly bogus!

Yo that totally sucks cause I got stuck by someone selling fakes not a vendor which is worst. And the bands are way off, just to know what’s the ring gauge on the bad ones?
 
Ring looks ok 50 but the length is somewhat different from the real as well as there is some inconsistency in the box on all the length.

No thats the thing the box looks real although there is no imprinting on the yellow ribbon of the Cohiba's bundle, Im not sure if there should be but I seem to think its always imprinted with the name.

Instead of PMing the source to everyone on the board, why not just send it to a couple of the more tenured members here (like insight, the first person who asked), and go from there. I'm sure if Phil, Greg, and the Council of Elders deem there's a problem, the proper steps will be taken.
 
I have received two boxes of recent production PSD4's and was surprised by the light wrappers, so that alone is not tell tale. Now the band is a different story. I'm very familiar with band on the right and Trevor's site confirms this is the correct labeling.
