So big brother's not happy because he's losing out on some tax revenue. After the 29th, you can't mail cigarettes, 'roll your own' tobacco, or smokeless tobacco, at least not through the USPS.

I have not been able to find anywhere that cigars fall into this category, but rest assured your ever vigilant postal worker will be most uncooperative if they catch the slightest hint that there is any kind of tobacco in your package.

Now isn't this just what the Post Office needs?!?!....another restriction on their ability to generate revenue.

Read the article a little and see that they do in fact address cigars. "One exception, however, are cigars, which can continue to be mailed. There is also an exception to allow tobacco products to be mailed within Alaska and Hawaii."
