Habeas Punkus
We Cincinnatians know that ours is the tale of two cities. The east side of town is a different country than the west side of town and there is something of an eternal civil war that continues between the sides. I have heard it explained this way: West siders are known as the die hard sports fans and are more community driven. East siders are often thought of as more sophisticated with all too many Starbucks loiterers. The westies use their trademark slogan, "west is the best". The east siders respond by sitting back and checking their stocks.
I don't fully endorse the stereotypes but I have made my home on the east side. (I think I had to show a passport when I was forced to travel into the west side a few months ago).
When I returned to my east side abode today, I found that a missile launched from the west side had obliterated my wish list. Given the hard feelings from my side of the city to the other side of the city, I am wondering whether to consider this to be a peace offering or an act of war!
My thanks to Elderboy02. This was a well aimed hit and I am going to have to warn my fellow east siders that the west side has some firepower that was not previously known to exist!
