About me, I am a packaging engineer in the automotive industry in the Motor City...well the burbs (East Side). <br />
I enjoy a pour of Bourbon nightly and if in the mood I'll take notes, but not always. I do enjoy hunting down hard to find and odd bottles at local shops. I recently found and sent AVB a bottle of Ardbeg 1977, to which I need to say thank you Ray sent me the coin for bottle and a really nice Fiver with a recommendation of which one to smoke with my bottle of 1977.<br />

I am an active member on Straightbourbon.com and have been involved in a multitude of trades and purchases. One of the most recent was a road trip to Cox Creek KY, where me and a few friends were able to select a barrel of Four Roses Single Barrel and have our own label stuck to the side of the bottle, very cool trip! We were able to select a barrel with Master Distiller Jim Rutledge and then went to lunch with Jim and his assistant Patty. The whiskey should be available before Thanksgiving so it should be a good holiday season!

Enjoy my family and friends. Hanging out and good times. Trips to the upper penninsula of MI (parents live there).<br /><br />Use to Mt. Bike a great deal before the kids. Need to get back on that.<br /><br /><br />Bourbon Collection (It really is silly)<br />Just getting into cigars, I am seasoning a Humi currently and look forward to filling it.<br /><br />11/13/08 - Well I still have not done much of the above. I did do quite a bit of Mt Biking this summer and now that the cold has come and the season to a stop, I seem to have put the winter weight on quite quickly.<br />No Coolidor yet but I did get a small humidor and am getting ready to season it. <br />The Bourbon collection has gotten out of hand and I can show you where all the money went...not into the Humi that's for sure. I think I need to stop the Whiskey bug for a bit regroup funds and start growing the humidor.<br />Other tasks work on my standings here as I do not have many posts so I need to spend some more time here and learn a bit more.<br /><br />11/14/08<br />Received and order today <br />AF Hemingway Signatures, AF Chateau Fuente and some C. Torano 1959 Perfecto's<br /><br />Do not have a wish list yet.
