Friday at last . . .

Couldn't decide what to have and wound up pulling the lone Davidoff out of my humidor.

I realized that I have never tried a Viaje of any type so I figured I would address that oversight.

It's been a while - a nasty case of food poisoning had me out of commission for over a week, but I'm back 100% and feeling celebratory.

I thought it was excellent. It might be slightly more interesting at a higher proof, but that's really me looking for faults when there aren't any obvious ones. Not sure I've had better at that price point.

I'm admittedly a craft beer curmudgeon. Having gone through my hophead and weirdly flavored stout phases years ago, I'd rather have a Bells Two Hearted or a simple Czech pilsner these days than all the newfangled weirdness that is available. That being said, I really enjoyed this even though...
