Hahahahha. Funny because I actually did that! First I tried my shelves, then my desk, and now it's on my bookcase. Its still staying at 70% which I guess is fine.

I seasoned the humi for about a week. I didnt have beads yet, so I just lightly wiped the walls with distilled water and dried it. And then I left a moist sponge on a plastic bag in the box for about week. Ever since then, my RH% has been between 75-80% . Now that I have the beads, its gone down...

Thanks for all the advice guys. 1- I will try to test my hygrometer again. 2- I will let the beads sit in there for a while longer to see if it helps. It's currently only 10% hydrated. 3- I will put my cigars (about 6) to see if it'll stabilize easier. I'll let you guys know what happens...

Hi everyone! I recently just purchased my first humidor. Its a 75-100 count desktop that came with those sponge-like humidifiers. I seasoned it for about a week until i received my 65% beads from viper. According to my Caliber III, my humi won't go down below 75-76% with a good handful of beads...
