Wholeheartedly agree. Glad you enjoyed it but I've been underwhelmed by every one of these I've had the chance to smoke. Certainly not worth the money they're going for IMO.

It took all of about 2-3 years for people to start charging 3-4x the price for HUSC's.

I love these. I haven't smoked one in years but I have an unopened box from '02. Not sure what I'm waiting for. I think I'll crack it this summer.

Ditto. Had no less than 3 boxes of '01 Monarchs and the majority were plugged. All were ECA box codes, BTW.

My favorite size in this line is the Victoria(6x38). I have to say that I've been loving just about everything Pepin is making these days.

Have to agree with Strayvector. With all else being equal I will usually ask the vendor to recommend a box code. Otherwise I just go with the oldest box code except for '99 or '00.

I have a box of ex #4's from '02 and while I like them a lot I have to say that the CS I have from the same year are much better. I really love the Choix's, they're my favorite morning smoke.

As much as I love the Upmann line this is one I just don't care for that much. Smoked a few of them and they just don't do it for me.

I wish I had that problem. :(

Haven't smoked a lot of these but the few I've smoked have been very nice.

I've smoked a ton of these from '02 and '03, one of my favorite smokes. Don't remember ever having any draw problems.

I've got to try some of these. Everbody keeps saying how great they are(Tatuaje's I mean).
