As today is the big day congratulations to both of you.
As for the question, I think part if it is also an indirect way of her asking you to quit without doing so, more like a guilty conscience kind of thing. I think many if not most non smoking wives/girlfriends would prefer us to quit but...
Rod, for all the hard work you do and everything you did to get back up and running....THANKS! You provide us with a place where we can chat about cigars, ask questions or just pass time without asking for any monetary compensation for your time. I just want to say that your efforts are very...
The La Flor de Cano Predilecto (en tubos) was among the first cigars I ever tried but I couldn't find them anymore. It was great but I had only that lonely one. I thought I'd give other Flor de Canos a try so I picked up a few Selectos....man what a different experience. They were very hard...
I like the skin the way it is but I'm always up for change as well.
Either way, can it be made so that when you float the mouse pointer over the thread title it displays the first 50 or so characters instead of the thread start time?
I find that if I take one puff per minute, the cigar gets too cool and each puff has too little smoke. I find myself puffing a bit more than that and it keeps the cigar nicely lit with ample smoke but not a harsh taste.

My lighting process is that I take a butane lighter, hold it under the foot so that the foot doesn't actually touch the flame and start rotating...
Sometimes the strangest things happen. I would classify myself as a "non-taster", sometimes people in the same room will ask me if I smell "something" and I usually have to deny it (not because "who smelt it is who dealt it") but actually because I can't smell it at all. Then the strangest...
Also if a tobacconist has 4 boxes of the same cigar that I want to pick up, should I pick the oldest box to get the most "on-site" aging? or it doesn't matter....the cigars don't age in the box anyways.
I've tried the Romeo y Julieta club and they are also strong with minimal flavour. However, I have found that the draw is very easy so I have to smoke them slow and easy otherwise they burn really hot.
When you first got your hygrometer and did the salt calibration test how accurate was it Out-of-The-Box? I got a simple Radio Shack (Canadians now call it "The Source" - same crappy stuff, just a different name), I did mine and got a reading of 68%. I suspected that I had not added enough...
