Just got my 3 boxes today. Glad I didn't order more, they maxed out my humidor! Had to consolidate one box, so down to 4 left in there.

Being in the military, there's gotta be a trustworthy buddy in your unit... Or maybe even another family your close with. I forgot to mention... Hawaii is miserable! Clear water, sun, a constant breeze, amazing sunsets... Absolutely miserable. I feel for any poor soul who has to suffer...

You didn't specify if you have issues with a pack or with getting a decent sleep, but hammock camping might help with the latter! I'm only 28, but the military tore my back up.. Could never sleep well while camping, until I started using a hammock!

If you're in MA, you should check out the New England Trail, formerly the M-M trail. They just finished the southern terminus @the beach in Guilford, CT & it goes to Mt Monadnock in NH. Just did a section from the MA/CT border to Heublein Tower... So far, so good! I love getting outdoors with...

I was thinking of putting a Promag Archangel 556 stock on & dressing it up. I don't do competitions, but we enjoy doing timed shoots amongst friends... Would be fun to use something other than a wood stock

Nice gun! I can always appreciate the time & thought that goes into custom builds. I appreciated the platform while toting an M4 around Iraq. These days, I don't have much use for that style of rifle. Can't use them for deer hunting (in CT), & for fun at the range, 22lr ammo costs much less...

A little loss pay for longer usually pays more than a little more pay for short term. Is the cost of living lower in DFW than where you are now?

I can't relate to your predicament... But I hear Texas is pretty nice! Wold you ever be able to relocate? You figure the money you're saving in child support would go a bit farther down there. If it's going to weigh on you emotionally, I'd say it's worth doing whatever you can to be near them...

I'm assuming those of you who smoke while mowing are using a ride on? Haha this past weekend I attempted to mow my yard with my push mower & a cigar... Not the most enjoyable experience! One of these days I'll upgrade... 2 ½ hours of pushing & sweating is getting old

I was wondering the same.. Going on a 3 day backpacking trip with some friends (who don't mind cigars). I figured a zip lock, boveda pack, & a small hard case should do the trick for the short trip!. Looking forward to smoking while watching the sun set from a nice spot.
