Cubans In Berlin, Schwerin, Hamburg & Lubeck Germany?

Thanks for any help y'all can advance. I will be much obliged. If I can manage the time between flights I intend to hit the duty free stores at Frankfurt on the way into Germany but this depends on how much time I have between my flight into Germany and my flight to Berlin.

Cubans In Berlin, Schwerin, Hamburg & Lubeck Germany?

I am headed to Germany (Berlin, Schwerin, Hamburg and Lubeck) as an academic fellow of a German institute. We have been advised that our free time is going to be limited if at all and will occur mostly at or afternoon or night. This will severly limit my ability to run off looking for a proper...

Met Nestor Miranda At Vilar Cigars In Miami

Dan, If you have not been back to the area it does not appear at all like you may remember it. White flight in the 80s, the loss of National, Eastern and Pan-Am airlines, hurricane Andrew, the loss of Homestead Air Force Base (now an Air Reserve Base) hurricanes Katrina and Wilma all took a...

Met Nestor Miranda At Vilar Cigars In Miami

You meet the most interesting people in cigar shops in the Miami area. Honestly, these places are like some sort of cigar form of Cheers. Case in point; yesterday. I read about a new cigar shop opening up in Homestead. I went to check it out but it has not opened. Damn! I wanted to check out a...

What do you like drinking with your favorite cigar?

I usually smoke maduro cigars. These pair very well with Café Cubano. I also think any of the whiskeys (Scotch, Bourbon, Irish Whiskey, etc) do very well with cigars. I do not like aperitifs or grape based alcoholic drinks with cigars (wine, champagne, etc). I do not think these pair well and...

    Whats Your Latest Puchase

Oh yeah! It cetainly was! Like I said I am basically filling the coffers. These will get smoked in the next few years as part of my regular rotation. First a good rest in the humidor for at least 6 moths to a year.

    Oliva Serie V Torpedo WOW!

Actually, I was skulking around antique malls and cigar shops that day. My dumb luck that I walked into Mike's Cigars and they were having a Oliva event. Mike's lists these cigars as sold out but this box was handed to me by a member of the Oliva family when I showed interest in them. I have...

    Lanceros - my favorite size

I see a lot of fancy, expensive cigars mentioned here. I would like to mention the Sancho Panza Double Maduro Lancero. For around $3 a stick it smokes up just fine. Oh and it has got to be the fatest lancero I have ever smoked. These smoke like expensive cigars and taste fantastic for a 1/3 of...

    Whats Your Latest Puchase

Let's see. In the last month I have been on something of a roll as I have been trying to pick up a few boxes to lay up for storage. I have picked up: 1. One box of El Titan De Bronze torpedo 2. Three bundles of El Credito Super Magnum #10 (Seconds of La Gloria Cubana Serie R #6) 3. Three boxes...

    Can You Smoke Inside?

No I won't. My wife says I can but I just KNOW that would lead to problems so I do not push the issue. The heat, humidity and bugs are so bad in the summer down here that I tend to stop smoking between June and November.

    Oliva Serie V Torpedo WOW!

The day after Thanksgiving I stopped by Mikes Cigars and what do you know they are having a little thing for Oliva Cigars. Well I got handed a free Serie V and a free Serie G. I lit up the Serie V and it was so good I bought a box of the Torpedo. All I can say is WOW! If I had not known what...

The TTT Trinidad are consistently excellent cigars. Weren't they the cigar choice of Fidel when he was smoking?

Please Hit This Cigar Related Poll

A local Florida shooting website I am a member of opened up a cigar and drink section recently. All has been going well until today when one of the moderators of that site posted a beratting post going after cigar smokers on the cigar forum. He also posted a poll. If y'all can find it within...

    Torano Sampler

I LOVE the 1959 Exodus. The box press is wonderful and the flavor/rolling is fantastic. A real winner.

    Lancero

I am very fond of the Sancho Panza Double Maduro Lancero cigars. For the life of me these are the most robusto sized lanceros I have ever smoked!
