I bought a box of Partagas 898 Varnished for my son that was born in 2009. It's a strong cigar that hopefully has some flavor left after 18 years of aging.
If you have money Behikes first release would absolutely rule in 18 years.
What thehenchman said.
As a newbie myself I've been sampling CC's and NC's to find out what I like:
-I'm having difficulties to find NC's I really like
-I find it easy to find NC's I really hate. I don't like the "I'm gonna rape your face" -attitude that many Nic and Honduran cigars give. Or...
I had to buy more of these discontinued gems before they go away:
Diplo 4
La Gloria Cubana Med 1
Punch RS 11
And for aging a box of
Party 898 Varnished (10)
Now, I need to find some Party Connie 3's
For the topic: I just made an odor test for several different cigars and I'm pretty sure my Cohibas are made of Cuban tobacco. I'll wait for couple of weeks to smoke one. If it isn't fake, it'll be waste of money to smoke one now.
I have similar experience with Ninja. I bought a 5er from LCDH...
I'll smoke one once I think they've settled down. Odor of the cigars seem cuban-like, but on the light side of odor scale. If they are fakes they are very well made fakes.
Thanks Kingantz for the comparison.
