Don't worry about it, it happens. I will check back here from time to time to see what specials you post, but that was a good one. I have over 100 bottles of port aging, most will probably outlive me, but maybe my daughters will develop a taste and drink some old ports some day

Since I ordered on the wine the 15th and just got a notice today that they are sold out. I would start looking for another gift. I have collected wine for over 20 years, and only in the wine business do I see stores list things, then a week later tell you they don't have the wine. That...

    Sir winston 02

Steve, for what it is worth I just smoked another and it was much better. However not even close to the 2001s. Just a year to year thing I guess. 2007's are just ok at this point and I am holding them for a few more years.

insight, your insight was correct. After searching I did find them under milesmingus, but like a few others mentions those being unpinned did not benefit the site regardless of outdated information or not. At least I can find them and that is the main thing.

I may have choked it a few too many times and gone blind, but where is the Fuente reference with all the pics. It had opus, anejos and all the regular fuentes.

Positive not fake. Impeccable source and I have most years myself to compare them to even if I thought for a moment they were questionable. Interestingly no one has smoked the 2002's here though and some even question that they made a Sir that year.

Jake, The 2001s I have smoke were all delicious outside a few draw problems.

    The spell is broken

My experience with Davidoff is that the extreme consistency from one year to another and the fact that they are made so well are worth the money to me. . They have enough different styles now that they would appeal to most. I know the price makes it difficult to smoke daily for most. After...

I smoked one of the 02s I have the other day and it has a taste that I do not like. Medicinal, green that overwhelms the normal flavor. I thought I had a bad one 2 months ago and now the same thing. Is this the year or what is wrong with these. I never tasted this in a cigar before. Thoughts...

Best vintage to suit my taste

I appreciate the replies so far. I smoked a more recent box code of the Petit Edmundo the other night, and it had much of the profile I like. I think it will gain more of it with age. I am beginning to wonder if cigars don't mirror wines in this way: They always say there is no great wine...

Best vintage to suit my taste

I have smoke a good number of the island sticks over the past couple years. I am a much bigger wine collector than cigars, altough I probably have 600 cigars or so. Much like the different vintages of wine, I have found that most of the cigars that I enjoyed either are from 2001 a few from 2004...

The 2002 Sir Winstons sport a different band than the same cigar with a box code 5 years later. When did they change the bands? Appreciate your answer.
