After looking at some profiles of other members on here it appears my first attempt at a profile might have been a bit lacking. So here is the second attempt. My name is Aaron and I live in Northern Kentucky. I am currently employed in the security field. I hold a B.A. in Political Science and I attended graduate school in the Canadian tropics. Home for me will always be Southern Kentucky and I hold a special place in my heart for WKU….go Toppers! I love fried foods…..any fried food….if you can fry it more than likely I will eat it. I’m a big fan of Sierra Nevada and Dogfish Head beers. I don’t do much of the hard stuff anymore, but on occasion will have a glass of bourbon (I live in Ky after all). I have been smoking cigars for about 12 years. For a time I lost sight of the domestic market and immersed myself in ISOM’s. I am on my way to correcting that oversight (at least as much as my wallet will allow). I have never had a bad Fuente or Oliva. I like the LP line from Drew Estate (not big on the flavored stuff). I am currently on a Pete Johnson kick. I feel that he is doing some awesome stuff right now. There is much more on the domestic market that I like but space here is limited. As for the ISOM’s; I cut my teeth on the Fonseca line. Monte #2 and #4 are great cigars. The Upmann CM, Parti Shorts, SD4, RASS, Dip #2, JL #1 all excellent. I think the SLR Serie A and the Por Larranaga PC are extremely underrated cigars. As far as I am concerned the best Habanos line is Bolivar. I feel that I was liberated by Bolivar just as was a large part of South America. In my case it was a box of BRC from ’97. However, unlike Simon Bolivar the box did not allow me to become dictator of the long since dissolved state of Gran Colombia. Each and every cigar in that box was (at least for me) the pinnacle of what a cigar could be. It was like I was the last highlander and I had just decapitated the other guy and there was lightning and thunder and windows shattering and all that other stuff going on with each puff (sans the Queen soundtrack). The BBF and BGM are good too. I wish they still made the BCE and some other assorted sizes from different brands that have gone the way of the dodo. I like the Cohiba line, but I feel there is better value for the money in other places so I don’t mess with them very much. The RyJ and Sancho Panza lines are fine, but not to my taste. So thanks for stopping by and reading up on my profile! Aaron
