Yeah, that’s the cheap Gran Habano in the ashtray. I need to get my wineador down to about 66RH STAT. I learned not to take a stick out of it and attempt to smoke it. Not doable.
This is a Lattitude Zero toro (6X52) that has been in a humidor at 66RH for a month and it is wonderful! Lit it up just as the wind died down here and Garden Party started on the Herb Alpert Blow Your Own Horn album started. Pretty sure I got this at the Brew City Cigar Fest about 5 years ago. Deelish!
Gonna hit that Balvenie Doublewood again, I think.
Edit: This is box-worthy! Esp at the price point! Kathmandu rates it a 93 FWIW, but I like this. A lot.
A couple weeks ago, @Rod graciously sent me a couple of Toasty (Tasty? ) Jones sticks to try, and this was included with them. The Cuaba Divinos, double figurado, very unique. I am completely unfamiliar with Cuban cigars, so I am very appreciative to this introduction! Thanks, Rod!
Oh, and the Toasty Jones are amazing for their price point. I have about 100 HC cigars (various) as my everyday smoke, but I may get a bundle of these and do some side/side comparisons. That Toasty Jones was, well, tasty! Thank you, sir!
Have had these sitting around for ~3 years and finally decided to burn one while reading this Groom book I found out about here. Delightfully creamy for the first half or so, really nice smoke.
