Good morning everyone, the espresso is on and it's another beautiful morning here in the Hudson Valley. We had a great weekend starting off with the Connecticut Barn Smoker on Friday that was off the charts. Saturday, a number of us from the New Windsor American Legion Post 1796 went to the Renegades Baseball (Yankees Minor League team) game. Then yesterday, we stayed home and I did some yard work and afterwards we relaxed out back smoking top shelf cigars and adult beverages. Tonight, we are back on track with our monthly Pasta Night at the American Legion which is always a big hit. Anyway, enjoy all and remember to be safe out there...... :)

I was at the CT Barn Smoker Friday too. Great time! I saw the Hold the Line (West Point cadets) videos this morning, which i believe is in your neck if the woods. Enjoy the day!
 
Good morning all (well, it's almost midday), the espresso is definitely working and I've been out running errands and stopped be the American Legion in New Windsor already. After having an early dinner, I'm heading to the Aroma Cigar Room in Monroe, NY to spend time with the local S/BOTL. Enjoy everyone and remember to be safe out there....... 👍
 
Good morning everyone, the espresso is on and I'm about to have some breakfast as well. We had a great weekend overall: Friday, we smoked a spatchcock chicken while relaxing all day; Saturday, I did some errands early then went to a friend's house for his birthday party; then yesterday, Beth and I started out with going to the Warwick, NY Farmer's Market followed up with meeting some close friends at the annual Nam Nights Pork Roast BBQ. Congrats to the Yankees for sweeping the St. Louis Cardinals this weekend, keep it up fellas and tighten up the AL East. Have a great week all and enjoy....... :)

Morning Charlie. Last week we visited wife's friends in Poughkeepsie. If time would have allowed I would have enjoyed connecting with you, sharing a stick and just maybe seeing the Point. Be well, the Yanks will get better.
 
Good morning all, the espresso is on and it's a wet Thursday morning as we speak. It rained the majority of the day yesterday into the evening which we definitely needed. Today, I'm heading to West Point to pick up a few things to include medications from the Keller Army Community Hospital, adult beverages from the Class VI Store (liquor store), and a stop at the commissary. Later on today, I'm going to head over to the Aroma Cigar Room in Monroe, NY to see the fellas and enjoy a couple of top shelf stogies. Good morning everyone, the coffee has been on since 0630 and we're getting ready to head out to the Rushing Duck Brewing Company in Chester, NY for their 13th Anniversary get together. Today is day 3 of celebrations and it'll be nice to see Nikki and Dan (the owners) and get to enjoy a beer or two with. Have a great day all and enjoy....... 🍻

Congrats to Yankees on another win and getting back to 2nd place in the AL East. The Yankees are now only 3 games behind the 1st place Blue Jays, keep it up fellas as you all got this. Unfortunately, Army lost a tough one last night in their season home opener in double overtime 30 - 27 to Tarleton State University. Good morning all, the coffee is on and I'm about to have some breakfast as well. We had a great day yesterday at the New Windsor American Legion Post 1796. We had hamburgers, hotdogs, salads, watermelon along with matching sides. The Legion was busy all day and everyone enjoyed themselves. The Yankees were off yesterday but will be back at it this evening against the Astros in Houston, TX. Have a great day everyone and enjoy....... :)
 
Good morning everyone, the espresso is on and it's a wet Friday morning here in the Hudson Valley. The rain is over and we needed it as it's been pretty dry out for a while. Congrats to the Philadelphia Eagles on their win last night and also to the New York Yankees as they are closing in on 1st place in the AL East. The NASCAR drivers are in Madison, IL this weekend with racing tomorrow evening and Sunday afternoon. Sunday is a busy one with NFL, MLB, and NASCAR so enjoy all and I hope you get to smoke a favorite or two or...... 👍
 
Good morning all, the coffee is on and it's a cool 48°F outside as we speak. Today's high will be 72°F which is perfect for this time of the year. Sports wise this past weekend, Army beat Kansas State; the Yankees took 2 out of 3 from the Blue Jays; the only New York Football team that won was the Bills; and Denny Hamlin took the checkered flag in yesterday's NASCAR race. This evening, the American Legion Post 1796 in New Windsor, NY is hosting a Pasta Night which is always a big hit. Have a great week everyone and enjoy a few of your favourites throughout it......... 🍺

Good morning everyone, the espresso is on and we're about to head out to the LaGuardia Airport. We're spending a few days with our niece / goddaughter who is attending Oklahoma University (OU) out in Norman, OK. We plan on hitting a few breweries out there and take in the sites as well. I'm packing a few cigars and hopefully I find a cigar bar / lounge while we're out and about. Enjoy your day and I'll update as I can....... :)
