This was a limited bottle run! Aged in old beer casks. Very cool

This was a limited bottle run when I first got it, almost three years ago now, and only available in California. Now it’s distributed in Texas and Idaho allegedly.

Anyhoo, very good and unique whiskey if anyone stumbles across the bottle. Certainly recommended!

‘97 Partagas Lusitanias DB - beautiful smoke as almost always especially with 25+ years on them. Having smoked these from dozens of boxes and cabs I am confident the cab cigars age so much better. Smoked a few from ‘01-‘-03 cabs recently that blew this DB Lusi away.

Crux Epicure Habano. A Nicaraguan puro made by Plasencia. Very good indeed. Beautiful construction, very dense flavors dominated by tannic oak and spice, meaty, medium pepper, a little dark fruit (plum/prune maybe). Thick clouds of chewy smoke. Definitely worth a try if you haven't had one.
