Today's Smoke 2026

I'll be happy to answer on his behalf- the Al Pastor is not only a really good cigar, it can be found on sale on the page $89 for a bundle of 20. I honestly think it might be my favorite rojas, and that's outranking the Cinco de Mayo line, and the barbacoa, which I love both.

Agree I think the Al Pastor is my favorite of the taco line (also like the barbacoa and breakfast taco) and probably of all the Rojas. Also like the Bluebonnet and Cinco de Mayo-at least the ‘25. I have a ‘26 resting that I’ll try soon.

The brand reminds me a lot of my father, every one of their cigars is at very least GOOD.
Edit to add: this statement excludes the havana nights line. not a fan. also to add, even their seconds line of maduro is a great cigar. I bought a bundle of 20 of them, and even when I pull one from the humidor, I have that guilt of "are you sure you want to burn one of these?"

you must work at/own a lounge, that or you live in the apartment above the shop
Ha no, but it is only about 2 miles away from my house... But I'm an educator on summer break until tomorrow so I have more time on my hands than usual during the summer months. During the school year I'm mainly just a weekender there.

@mayor79 one of the things I have enjoyed most about this year’s headfirst dive into the hobby is finding brands I like and exploring more of their lines. A few I have really enjoyed so far - Foundation, Warped, Rojas, Dunbarton, Fuente, My Father, Padron, Drew Estate (Liga), Black Works Studio/Black Label Trading, Fabrica 5, Illusione, EP Carillo and of course, Johnny O. I’m thinking Crowned Heads is going to be another one.

Lucky, closest lounge I know about is a good hour and a half away.

Gellis Family Marevas (G Series)
Very firm with a fairly tight draw. Very good construction. Strong black pepper start, baking chocolate, cream, butter and salt. Cedar, spice, dried fruit and salted caramel. Toasted marshmallow and spiced vanilla. Nice flavors except for the persistent butter and salt backdrop. Just okay.
