    Cigar of the month

Man March is a tough one! Looking back through the month there are easily a half dozen cigars that wouldn't be out of place, but for the top spot I can't decide between the AVO 22 Redux and the Benji Menendez Majestuoso.

    Today's Smoke 2026

BLTC Royalty Corona. A quite dark Ecuador corojo wrapper, Honduran binder, and Nicaraguan fillers. Wood, leather, dark roast coffee, pepper. Impeccable burn, good flavor, very "dark" and heavy. I would smoke this again.

    Today's Smoke 2026

Looks like I forgot to post last night's cigar. Padilla Miami 8&11 Lancero. This one was rolled too densely resulting in a tight draw and splitting the wrapper in several places. Good flavor, though, when it was burning decent. I'm down to just two lanceros and two robustos left.

    Every week, it's SOMETHING.

If I have the option to not step inside a porta potty (i.e. no one around), I'm making the same choice as that guy ten times out of ten.

    Today's Smoke 2026

Guardian of the Farm Apollo. These just keep getting better. This one has 18 months in the humidor and it's smooth and sweet.

You just can't get away with anything these days!

It's a professional goal of mine to someday start a will for a client along the same lines as Hatchet Jack's, "being of sound mind and broke legs". Ending it with "Hope it be a white man" would be the cherry on top!

    Today's Smoke 2026

Lusi from an unmarked baggie of two. Pre '08 but beyond that no clue. A bit of a tight draw but lovely flavor so far.
