You should have read AVB's review of this one. He mentions the same thing you did about the flavor. His review is why I never bought a bottle of that stuff...he's usually spot on with these things. I haven't had a glass of anything recently due to being sick and my taste buds being destroyed...

I have a feeling the guy was saying they were $100 so he could put up a sale post saying that's how much he paid for them. I have never seen them in the DFW area for more than $50.

I thought it was way too bitter but I like my DIPAs more balanced like 90 min or even Dreadnaught. It wasn't bad but I have other favorites...

Two of my favorites right there. You will definitely want to add some ice or water to that Bakers...it's pretty strong stuff but it's damn tasty. For bourbon you might also try Four Roses Small Batch or Single Barrel and Makers Mark 46. Enjoy!

Good guess on it being a Fuente. When you started to say it tasted like an Opus I thought you might figure it out. Most people go for the Carlitos but I like the Don Carlos...and it doesn't hurt it's from 2006. :) Beautiful dog, btw!

LOL @ "heavier beers tend to fill me up fast." With higher alcohol beers you don't want to pound them like a frat boy. You sip them and enjoy all the flavors. It typically takes me an hour or more to finish a higher ABV beer... You drink Coors light to get drunk over a longer period of...

Flying Dog BA Gonzo - not bad but needs more time in the barrel IMO Saint Arnold Divine Reseve 11 DIPA - this is damn good...on par with some of the best west coast DIPAs I've had Lagunitas Lil Sumpin Sumpin - one of my favorites

Watch out it will put a hurtin' on you. I drank the whole bomber in about 2 hours and was d-runk by the end of that bad boy. Thing must be around 12% or more...care to give an accurate ABV Justin?

Sipping on a Smelly Sell Brewering Baltic Porter that is very tasty. Nice big dark fruit and cocoa flavors and excellent mouthfeel. Nice work, Justin!
