I smoked a 5 year old BTL and wasn't impressed...I wanted to like it but it was pretty bland.

Smoked another recent release 858 Rosado....Good cigar but nothing special yet.

Doesn't make sense to me but it isn't my money. Those are really rare and excellent cigars but they come at a hefty price.

I wouldn't vacuum pack it. Just put it in a tupperware bowl with a Boveda and I bet you'll be ok.

I too have a SEP 09 box and I haven't even given any thought to smoking one....I may try one just to see what it is like....you never know, I may love it or I may pitch it after an inch or so..lol.

5 year old Anejo 50 and it was really good.

Smoked a recent Cohiba Robusto that was good, but definitely needs to rest for a few years.

I was thinking about trying that too but $56 shipping on a $24 pizza just isn't gonna work.....I guess the delivery guy would have a hell of a drive to TX.....LOL!

Smoked an El Rico Habano from the '90s.....Lots of unique flavors. I enjoyed it a lot.

I heard that too but they do taste different from my experience.

I have one from 2000 that I haven't smoked yet but I have a box from '02 and a box from '07 and the '07s are just as good if not better than the '02s...You are right, they lose their kick with age.
