New edition to the family ... naming help

Ok so looks like we picked ourselves a new baby ... actually 9 week old puppy! We are on our way back from San Diego from the breeder. She is a Malti-Poo mix with blue eyes and we are having trouble naming her. Some of the names we've come up so far are:
-Squirt (her mom's name is Sprite)
-Sky
-Sandy (we got her in San Diego)

We already rescued a Malti-Terrier mix and her name is Sugar. So any recommendation would help us out.

Philip, Rivers, or Philip Rivers--everyone's favorite SD punky QB, though given your avatar, I suspect you probably don't care much for him, so perhaps this name is only a good recommendation if you anticipate having to yell at or otherwise discipline the dog a lot, although you may enjoy saying things like "Philip Rivers, stop eating your own poop!" and "Philip Rivers, stop pissing in the house you little shit!" and things of that nature...
Tony, Gwynn, or Tony Gwynn--especially funny if you expect the dog to get really fat as it ages, or if it has an incongruous voice
Steve, Garvey, or Steve Garvey--if the dog is the most boring creature on the planet
Eggo--as in sandy Eggo
Baxter--Ron Burgundy's dog's name (Anchorman being in Whale's Vagina, er, San Diego)
Veronica Corningstone, Brian Fantana, Brick Tamland, Champ Kind, Ed Harken (or some combination or abbreviation thereof)--characters from Anchorman
Shamu--SeaWorld's big attraction, or supporting SeaWorld San Diego resident orcas Corky, Kasatka, Ulises, Orkid, Sumar, Nakai, or Kalia

I totally like Justin's idea. Lots of different hop names and IPA names. Is it a boy or girl? If a boy, you can name it simcoe, warrior or nelson.

Just had a discussion with somebody about dog names. They said to have a 2 or more syllable name for training purposes. How about Laguna, La Jolla, Santee or Solana if you want to keep it West Coast. I used to live in Solana Beach off of Via Del La Valle across from the Del Mar Race Tracks. Go for Solana!

Wow, this is freaky! Two of the first dogs I had growing up were Malti/Poodles named none other than Sugar and Spice! We kept one female from the litter and named her Cocoa. I gotta go with Spice.
