  I always look forward to having one or two of those around the holidays.

  2013 release.  So good, maybe even more bourbon-y than the 2012 release.       Not bad.  Could use a little more time in the barrels, but a solid offering from a smaller brewery.

I really wanted to like this, but the coffee flavor was too overpowering.  And since I'm not a coffee fan (unless it's offset by bourbon barrel aging, like Bourbon County Coffee Stout), then that's a no-go for me.  

It didn't exactly save Christmas, but it was interesting.  I'm not sure I'd buy it again, though.  It had a slight tartness and seemed overcarbonated.  

Best beer I've had in a long time:     It's the new Bourbon County Barleywine.  Incredible.  If anyone has access to them, I highly suggest picking up as much as you can.  And then pick some up for me, too.  :thumbs:           For some reason I've never picked this up before now, but glad I...

      Great trip to Columbia!  I've been to Flat Branch more than I care to admit, but haven't tried Broadway Brewery yet.  When I walk by it I always say "I need to go have a beer" and then my wife slaps the side of my head.
