Yup... barrel threads. That way, down the road, it's possible to change the barrel without reefing on it like the Hulk to break it loose. Might want a longer barrel, might burn it out, etc..  but it helps.

Ahhhhh... happiness is coming home to boxes on the doorstep... my pre-ordered 10 packs of pmags came in. ALL of them :-)

I've shot everything from 45gr to 79gr out of my 1:7 twist Colt...with the 45gr being the most accurate. Shot a 5 shot group@ 100yrds that all occupied at least some part of the same holes.

Regardless of what may/may not happen, I'm not taking chances! More pmags coming (NOT the inflated prices... OMG!), a couple of stripped lowers, and a complete upper not to mention a complete new AR (.308, thank you very much). Deals out there to be had if you look, but you gotta get on them...
