Yes, I wouldn't bother with those brands. If you're looking for good non-Cuban brands, there are so many great selections. Padron, Fuente, Tatuaje, Don Pepin, Illusione, Ashton, Oliva, Davidoff, Alec Bradley, etc. The brands you listed to me are just marketing names IMHO, copying off the...

I would personally go for something at less than a $5 price point, Padron 2000 Maduro etc. It's always good to keep some decent cheaper smokes on hand in case you are time crunched or may have to toss it early.

Hunters and Frankau? Whatever vendor you got these from I think they would replace them. These are usually hand selected boxes and you typically pay a little extra for that label.

I thought I remember hearing from someone that customs doesn't usually let you take Peso cigars out of the country, did you have any issues? It could have been a bad rumor or bad memory on my part. Something along the lines of tax or receipt or something.

I agree, but from the people I know who have smoked them, I hear they are incredible (the originals, not the one's coming out this year).

The last Behikes I've seen were going for $1000 per stick. The new release is going to have a different blend though, the only way to smoke the original Behike is to dish out some serious cash.
