Personally, if money is an issue, I would go the Coleman coolidor approach before springing for a cheap, large humidor. I wouldn't risk ruining hudreds if not thousands of dollars of cigars in a poorly constructed humidor that does not hold humidity well.

Do you have the option that kicks on the fans every hour? If not, I would guess circulation may be the issue. Also, how big is the tower? I keep both cannisters on the bottom at the back wall.

Thanks for bumping. This was a great read and this is the year I plan on gettng back to playing golf regurarly. Sounds like my criteria except I have one more - how well do they float, since a club or two on occassion has landed in a water hazard after executing criteria #2. :D
