The last time I had this happen was with a fresh Monti #2 .... it spent very minimal time in the the humidor and was quite wet still. Since then, I always allow time in the humidor before smoking. :cool:

Hey there Merlin, Many new wine drinkers will find Merlot's and Zinfandels very accessible for there palates, and there are some good ones in your price range. Your probably going to like wines that are more fruit forward, not necessarily sweet, so when you talk to people at wine stores...

Ahhhh ...... What I used to do with overflow wine is to put it in the bottom of a closet someplace in the middle of the house, no windows, and dark. Granted, CA summer cools down at night and we start from zero again the next day. How about putting the whole thing in a cooler with ice packs...
