    Well I was wrong.

Glad to hear this Wilkey! It would be nice to hear from the other members who have been wronged, if that is the case :whistling:

Are these legit? Can you tell?

My thoughts exactly Bob. I'll just add that if only one of these were present, it would not be conclusive. But all three makes it almost assured that these are fakes.

    The Elephant in the Room

My thoughts exactly Gary. However, I like to talk to people that aren't pompous jerkoffs like this guy.

    What to get next?

Nothing really to add to the above as I think he nailed it, but I would just add that you should give the Diplo #5s a shot. Very similar in profile to the Montes and much cheaper than the Cohibas and Trinis.

Bolivar Double Corona RE TEB AUG 07 (Middle East)

Nice review Greg  My favorite Bolivar RE, although I enjoyed the Libertadors and the last Colosales I had very much. The DC was released in 2007 and was not re-relased to my knowledge this year. 6000 boxes were made I believe and they are fairly expensive, imo ($4-500 per box of 25).

What beer did you drink today?

Dark Lord 2008 thanks to Jonas. All I can say is wow, I didn't think a beer could absolutely knock my socks off, but this one did. Without a doubt the best beer I've had to date; simply stunning

    Christmas Eve Brew

I had a bottle of the Deschutes Black Butte XX that was great. Very smooth, despite being 11% and more complexity than I would have imagined. Thanks Jonas for the opportunity to try it

    Christmas spirits

Some Four Roses Small Batch (thanks JetDr!) along with some beer and rum. The 4R was great, but I prefer the Single Barrel to the Small Batch.

Damn! Nice lineup there John  Last night I had a '80s Partagas 898 UV and a '07 Monte #4. Today, smoking a Monte A from '01 with Marc and tonight a '60s T.B. Carling Piramide.

No worries, just throwing out my $.02  Edited to add: I have never seen them go for the $50-60 range, and if that is the case, that is just sad to say the least.

    Hypothetical Cuba Vacations

Sorry, once again you are wrong. You cannot purchase most Cuban-origin products, including cigars, if you are a US citizen, regardless of where you are when you purchase them. There is also an across the board ban on the importation of Cuban cigars, regardless of whether or not you were...

    Hypothetical Cuba Vacations

"The regulations require that persons subject to U.S. jurisdiction be licensed in order to engage in any travel-related transactions pursuant to travel to, from, and within Cuba. Transactions related to tourist travel are not licensable. This restriction includes tourist travel to Cuba from or...

    Hypothetical Cuba Vacations

Techincally yeah, at least that's how I read it. However, you will probably violate Cuban law by doing so

    Hypothetical Cuba Vacations

"Unless otherwise exempted or authorized, any person subject to U.S. jurisdiction who engages in any travel-related transaction in Cuba violates the regulations." The bolded part is key, because you can enter and exit Cuba without breaking the law, BUT, if you pay any money at all in doing so...
