    Chicken breasts

I sous vide at 140 then finish on the grill to add a little color to the outside.

    Weekly Rotation

Boar, have you tried the A.J. Ramon Allones? If you like the Cromagnon, I think you'd like it, too. Strong.

    Houston, Orlando, DC, Baltimore

I won't be in Baltimore next week. Maybe the week of the 12th. Lots of time in Fayetteville, NC coming up including a weekend. How far is that from you Mr. Fields? Edit, oh nevermind. I forgot how close Fredericksburg is to DC.

Congrats on the promotion! I work north of Baltimore in Aberdeen often, so let me know when you're around. I usually travel there every other week, but this summer has been taking me elsewhere.

    Fig trees

Are you going to graft it onto something else or does the shoot root? No idea on difficulty for either, sorry. Interesting question.

    Colorado Springs Trip 7/19-28

Had the thought that maybe I could go in and out of PDX, but it's more expensive. Or it at least with ticket prices right now. Shame.

    Colorado Springs Trip 7/19-28

Actually tickets were only a $300 difference and staying 3 extra nights + per diem wasn't justifiable, so I'm flying back on Friday evening. I'll still be around Mon - Thurs night next week, though.

    Colorado Springs Trip 7/19-28

My plan is to stay the weekend and head to Seattle on Monday. Either staying down in the Springs or maybe going up to Boulder area. May split the weekend so I can hang at the old cigar place for a day. I have to run costs yet and make sure it's not a ton extra compared to coming back to Michigan...

Home Is Where The Hague Is

Only went up there once, but it seemed like a nice area. Congrats and good luck on the move!

    Anyone into Courvoisier ERTE?

Drink them. That's what they're made for.

    Kansas City 6/24-28

I'll be out in the KC / Ft. Leavenworth area next week for work if anyone wants to meet up. I'll be locked up during the day... not literally, being Leavenworth and all, but busy. Nights should be open after 5. If nothing comes up, I'll at least be at the Outlaw for a nightly smoke.

    Colorado Springs Trip 7/19-28

Oh shit, can I crash this? I'll be there the week of the 15th, not sure if I'll stay the weekend, but maybe I can play with my flights. I think I have to be out in WA the next week, so maybe I'll just go from there.

Smoking multiple cigars in a day

No cleansing. Just fire up the next smoke.

LF vegetable and beef stew with savory broth

https://www.recipetineats.com/irish-beef-and-guinness-stew/ http://www.louchegastronomique.com/2017/carbonade-flamande/ Good discussion on Belgian beers and adding bread to stew at the end of that last one.

LF vegetable and beef stew with savory broth

Make it with wine: https://www.brit.co/julia-childs-boeuf-bourguignon/ Or make it with beer: https://thehungrybelgian.com/2013/07/05/flemish-beef-stew/ The first with mashed taters, the second over fries, of course. I usually say any good Belgian dark beer (I used Westvleteren the last time I...
