    RIP Captain Phil Harris

I've never really been into the reality show genre, but DC is one of my favorites. I will definitely miss him. He was quite a character.

    Be careful with your Visa

I had something similar happen a couple of months ago. Some transactions involving a 3rd party for an online gambling site in England starting showing up on my card which was really odd since I don't gamble (nothing against it, just not my thing). Luckily, everything was eventually resolved...

    Today's Smoke II

I have some of these from 08 that have left me with a similar impression which really surprises me. The rest are going to take a long nap. Hopefully they will improve with time...we shall see.

What's been your most enjoyable cigar?

On the day I got married, I smoked an HdM from the Seleccion Robustos set of 5 that was simply amazing. What was cool was that she picked up the sampler in Spain the previous year. That cigar had loads of flavor and was very peppery with a long wonderful finish, by far the best of the sampler...

    McGwire...say it ain't so!

    Agreed...and so does Henry Aaron's.

    El Triunfador Lancero

This is one of my favorite cigars right now. It produces an incredible amount of smoke and is absolutely wonderful.

    Pictures of my Reef Tank

Cool tank. What kind of lights are you running on your tank? T5's or metal halide? I have a little nanocube 12. It can be a little pain in the a$$ somtimes, but it sure is worth it. It's amazing how much money you can spend on this hobby...just like cigars.

    Cohiba Sublime '04

Yes, you are correct. I went and researched it later (which is what I should have done before posting).

Do the cigars acutally have an EL band on them? The reason I ask is because I believe the Sublimes were added to the regular Cohiba lineup this year. If they don't have the EL 2004 band on them then they might be legit. If they do have the EL band then they are phoney as a three dollar bill...

What cigars have you smoked that are real ass kickers?

The first time I smoked a Power Ranger it made my head spin and turned my stomach upside down. I've smoked a few since then as well as other Opus, but none have kicked my butt like the first one. I've had a few LFD double ligeros that have given me a run for my money, but most cigars don't hit...

    Cohiba Robusto

I enjoyed your review. I think the green splotch you were referring to in your review may just be a sunspot on the wrapper leaf. I agree that they tend to be unattractive, but it's not totally uncommon with Habanos...from what I've read. :whistling:

Replacing bands on ISOM coming from DR

    Words fail me.

    El Triunfador Lancero

Great review. I bought a few of these when they first were released. I enjoyed them so much I went ahead and bought a box. They are probably one of the best constructed cigars I've come across.

    Fathers Day smokes?

I will probably be having an El Triunfador tomorrow evening. I hope it is every bit as good as the one I had 2 months ago.

I think I've just about had it!

I guess what I'm trying to say is that no matter what we do to prevent our children from getting sick, sometimes there just isn't anything WE can do. All we can do is hope that they can lead a happy and fulfilled life. Agreed. The irony is the baby girl I mentioned in an earlier post has not...

I think I've just about had it!

Yeah, I am probably in the minority, too, but I tend to agree with you. I have an 8 month old son and I never smoke around him, in the house or in my truck. It's just not healthy, in my opinion, to expose children to cigarette or even cigar smoke. We recently babysat a 9 month old for a...

    B&M's have to do better....

This why I don't understand why customer service has become so lacking at many places. If a business goes out of it's way to make you feel welcome and treat you right then not only are you more likely to go back, but you'll keep going even if it costs you a few extra cents to get there. Heck...

    B&M's have to do better....

I have been finding myself frequenting B&M's less and less over the last couple of years. Mostly, it's based on the same reasons that have been mentioned in this thread such as poor customer service. But, one of the things I'm finding just as troubling is the utter lack of cigar knowlege that...
