Yeah, tobacco products are always listed as either band or box, and then "box may contain tobacco.. not for consumption... etc etc" It's a loophole big enough for an elephant to jump-rope.
It might be more of a misinformed (somewhat shady) seller, than a true scam. I would just hope buyers do their own due diligence. I doubt anything would result from you reporting it to Ebay.
I mean SG = Specific Gravity. It probably is the FG at this point if fermentation is complete, but I haven't re-checked it to see if it's still falling at all.
It's extract w/specialty grains.
Yeah, same here. If you play a lot of 9ball, it will definitely improve your game as you really start to think ahead and learn to put the cue ball where you want it to set up next couple of shots.
Taste was good actually! Though obviously flat - but it was basically a decent first attempt at an amber I'd say.
The only disappointing thing was a sort of "mineral" taste. I'm hoping it goes away as the beer sits a bit longer, or maybe with bottle conditioning.
I ordered a water...
So anyway... everything looked good this morning when I checked on my brew. SG is at 1.012 (right where I was expecting).
In the fermenter:

Not carbed or cleared yet, but the color is about right:
Cool. I used to play in high school and college.
I learned a ton by playing in open 9-ball tourneys. Playing against people way better than you is a great way to pick up your skills.
It was still cooled in under an hour, so I'm not too worried. There are guys that do 'no chill' brewing with good results too.
Anyway, today's been 10 days in primary, tomorrow I'll take my first SG reading to see where we are. So far everything has been good.
I grew up in NJ, so you could order a Lager anywhere and get a Yuengling. When I first came up to Rochester I couldn't find it all. Strangely enough though, when I moved to FL for a year, it was readily available. Luckily we have it up here now too.
